Third Grade Students from Civicorps Elementary School in Oakland, CA will be attending the 50th Anniversary Conference of S.N.C.C. Michael Bartone, Third Grade Teacher, and Constance Moore, Visual Art Teacher, of Civicorps Elementary School are embarking on a special service-learning trip with seven third grade student representatives. They are traveling from Oakland CA to the 50th Anniversary Conference of the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) in Raleigh, North Carolina, April 15-18, 2010. The students have studied the Civil Right Movement and are excited to meet YOU their Civil Rights Heroes and Sheroes!
